When the high-spirited teenager Lot turns blind, her world collapses. She seeks solace in dreams, but will also have to face reality.
Studying, diving, living together, travelling with her boyfriend: all future dreams of 17-year-old Lot (Aiko Beemsterboer) are instantly shattered when a fireworks accident makes her blind. The previously high-spirited teenager escapes her new infirmity by dreaming as much as she can. In her dreams, she is free and can see again, but soon anxieties take over her thoughts. Only by accepting her new reality, she can regain a grip on life.
