In her debut film, Rozemyn, daughter of former NFF chairman Frans Afman (1933-2011), reconstructs how her banker father became a key figure in American film financing. His pre-sales system for movie rights facilitated the rise of influential, independent film production companies in Hollywood, and subsequently the realisation of numerous successful and legendary American features. Afman leaves Hollywood when shady characters start meddling with the funding system.
