'Gabberen' is a typically Dutch phenomenon. Originating in the 1990s, it has become a notion far beyond the national borders. This documentary shows the rise and fall of the gabber culture, which was more than just track suits and madly hakken. The traces are still visible today. Archive footage, much of it never shown before, and video footage shot by the gabbers themselves, paint a unique portrait of an equally unique and influential subculture.
