Dummie de Mummie

Director: Pim van Hoeve
Ten-year-old Goos would love to be braver and have more friends. When he utters this wish during a thunderstorm, a small 4000-year-old mummy comes alive. Goos finds the wretched pile of rags on his bed and manages to cheer up the mini-mummy, whose difficult name he abbreviates to Dummie. His father allows Goos to keep Dummie and the two become best friends. Goos brightens up completely and almost learns more from Dummie than the other way around. Family film, based on Tosca Menten’s book series.
