Director Kees Brienen travels to India to watch a total solar eclipse with his best friend. Upon his arrival, he is told his pal has passed away. An unanticipated road trip takes him to the remote village where his mate’s body lies in state. Brienen arranges the farewell and meanwhile has to cope with the fact his friend is no longer alive. Feature film, based on and mixed with true events, offering new perspectives on love, life and death.
