De lullige levensloop van een saaie man

Absurdist drama about the rather dreary undertaker Gerald. He is almost out of work after the arrival of a new hospital that has substantially decreased the number of deaths in his sleepy Groningen village. His only hobby is playing the trombone in the local brass band. The annoying conductor, however, who invariably addresses him by the wrong name, wants him to quit playing. When Gerald accidentally runs into one of the many seniors and is caught by the conductor, his pathetic life unexpectedly takes a positive turn.
