Nico and Ernst are two brothers who have all but lost contact. Nico lives with his father on the family farm, which is going through hard times. Ernst is a successful lawyer. A family tragedy in their childhood caused the estrangement between the two brothers and between Ernst and his father. But when the latter turns out to have a serious illness, the family is forced to reunite.
