On the dancefloor of Het Danspaleis, time briefly seems to stand still for these swaying, youthful seniors. Intimate documentary about the fragility and the power of growing old.
Imagine: a room in a nursing home is magically changed into a veritable ballroom, complete with velvet table cloths and old record cases. The turntable plays nostalgic music from the 1940s until now. People are dancing everywhere; young and especially old. Still, age is not important here. In this short, intimate documentary, four aged visitors of this magical dance fest are followed. Despite their physical or mental defects, the ladies and gentlemen at these musical gatherings enjoy life to the fullest.
