This controversial documentary - described by Van Gasteren as a medical-psychological film - follows a former concentration camp prisoner of around 50, who undergoes psychotherapy with LSD, under medical control, to come to grips with his horrid past. Van Gasteren filmed the man at home and in the clinic during his first two sessions. These scenes alternate with comments by the doctor in attendance. Footage of concentration camps illustrates the man's memories.
