The true but unknown story of the greatest Dutch resistance hero who in WW II cleverly bamboozled the occupiers out of money and funded the underground resistance with it.
Heroic deeds in times of war do not necessarily involve acts of violence. In this true but unknown story, banker Walraven van Hall puts his and his brother Gijs’ life at stake by secretly channelling away dozens of millions from the Dutch Central Bank. The ‘lost’ money is used to fund the resistance movement.
