Patricia Kaersenhout (1966) is a visual artist, cultural activist and feminist with a Surinamese background. In her work she investigates the African diaspora, in relation to feminism, gender, sexuality, racism and the history of Dutch slavery. She studied in Amsterdam at the social academy Amstelhorn and at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
