Making thousand-odd choices a day seems to go without saying, a right that you have to shape your life the way you want to. But how worthy is life without autonomy? In a personal portrait, steering between her brother, who has multiple handicaps, and her demented grandmother, the director examines what it means to be able to make your own basic life choices.
