For twenty years, Jen has carried the weight of guilt, after accidentally taking her sister's life in a shooting accident — now, life is forcing her to find a way forward.
For her seventh feature film, already shown at major international festivals, Gouden Kalf winner Nanouk Leopold (Guernsey) travelled to Ireland. Jen, a middle-aged woman, lives there in a small community in the south-west. She leads a withdrawn existence, ever since a shooting accident took her younger sister's life when she was young. Jen has found a way to live with herself and her past, but realises it's keeping her from moving forward in life. Then her former boyfriend Ronan returns, forcing Jen to make important decisions.
