Coming-of-age drama in which Grace (17), a Burundian girl with albinism, tries to hold her own at her secondary school in Rotterdam. She feels an outsider because nobody can handle her sensitive white skin. When in her final examination year Grace meets dancer Kya and her entourage, a new world opens up to her. For Grace, Kya is the proud, confident personification of herblackness and African identity. How far will Grace cross her personal boundaries to meet expectations?
