Wadoeje

Choices, choices, choices in this interactive web series about awkward encounters and difficult dilemmas in the lives of teenagers. What do you do if someone takes a picture of you while you’re changing at the pool? If it’s your rich girlfriend’s birthday but you’re too broke to buy an impressive gift? Or if you’re ashamed of your mother in front of your new boyfriend? In each episode of Wadoeje (which roughly translates to ‘Whadyado’), as a viewer, you put yourself in the shoes of the characters, and you make the choices for them that determine the course of the story. The series largely features young, unknown actors. Individual sections are posted on NPO 3’s website, Instagram and TikTok channels and as a viewer you can decide democratically with the rest of the online audience how the character should respond to the delicate situation and thus how the story unfolds.
