In this psychological drama, Melle returns to his deeply religious native village for the funeral of a childhood friend. Here, of all places, he meets a liberated villager. But due to the convergence of intense circumstances and the great strain inside Melle's head, his visit ends in an eruption of frustrations to the wrong person at the wrong time.
