In an air-raid shelter, a man is waiting for the shooting to stop. Only then he dares to open the trapdoor. A bit further down, another hatch is opened. A woman appears, and suddenly the perspectives look brighter. Comic animation, realised as part of the Flemish project 12 minuten over vrede; twelve ultra-short animations to honour the centenary commemoration of World War I.
