Vlinders

Director: Liza Koifman
Like two vulnerable butterflies, Dewy and Rika move through the Amsterdam nights. They deal, whore and share the money as a team. Until a serious incident puts their loving relationship to the test.
The lonely prostitute Rika finds support and affection in the single, drug dealing mother Dewy. The two get to know each other when Rika finds herself in an unpleasant situation with a client, and Dewy drops by to deliver his speed. The dealer offers herself as Rika's guardian angel, before the duo sets off on a trip across Amsterdam. A traumatic incident with a punter lands one of them in jail and seriously puts their relationship to the test.
