Victor Vleermuis

Director: Patrick Raats
Victor Bat is afraid of the dark and loves to sing, which makes him different from his family. In this cheerful animated film, he learns that it’s okay to dare to be yourself.
Victor Bat is afraid of the dark, which is rather tricky for a born night creature. His brothers can not understand it. On top of that, Victor loves to sing and falls in love with a sworn enemy of bats: a tropical songbird. In this cheerful animated film, which explores the theme of daring, and being allowed, to be yourself, the headstrong Victor eventually follows his own path, despite his family’s clearly different expectations. In the discussion afterwards, featuring voice actors among others, the focus is on how each of us is beautiful in our own way within a group, even if you are a little different.
