Road movie in Iceland. Snorri sees the chance to escape his village and study in Reykjavik go up in smoke. An encounter with Anna, who has to go to the capital, takes them both to their goal.
The dejected Snorri lives with his uncle in an Icelandic village. Every day, on foot, he checks a fence that stretches for miles. When he receives a letter saying that the study he wanted to do in Reykjavik has been cancelled, his world collapses. While driving around aimlessly in his uncle’s car, he meets Anna. She is completely shaken and wants to go to Reykjavik, no matter what. Snorri decides to take her there, and a fascinating trip through Iceland ensues.
