Does everything you throw into the ocean eventually come back to you? In this sensitive animated short, the ashes an elderly woman scatters by the sea return to her in quite a different form.
An elderly woman is riding her bicycle against the wind on an island. In the dunes, she takes an urn from her pannier and opens it, so she can scatter the ashes. The grey dust is swept along by the wind and ends up in the sea, where one of the particles is eaten by a fish. In a very short time span, this sensitive animated short tells an imaginative story about love and mourning. Made within the framework of Ultrakort.
