Political thriller in which the English top government official James Morton is reluctantly relocated to Brussels as Commissioner. As British and German chemical outfits are about to merge, Morton is tipped off about the illegal trade in chemical warfare agents. This seriously endangers not only his marriage and career, but ultimately his life. Guided by an obscure scientist through a world of hidden agendas and high-level corruption, he soon finds out that the truth has many faces.
