Luck is against Tex. And when a boy leaves her to boot, something snaps in her that may be irreparable. She takes revenge.
The directing debut of Jonas Smulders, primarily known as an actor, follows 17-year-old Tex, a pubescent girl from Amsterdam who is at odds with herself. She does not go to school anymore. Instead, she works at a car wash and takes care of her ill father. When the boy she is in love with dumps her, it is the proverbial straw. Tex is bent on revenge, but she does not quite understand yet how her actions may influence the rest of her life.
