Film version of a five-part drama series about a press photographer who goes in search of her past. Nora ten Have (23) has nightmares about a burning car after taking photographs of an accident. Assisted by a colleague, she finds out that her mother, her sister and her brother died in a car crash twenty years before. Nora's father, a dedicated cellular biologist, left his daughter after the funeral with the Ten Have couple and disappeared. Nora gradually manages to reconstruct her own past and that of her family. She gets to know her relatives postumously as good people willing to help others. But why did her father desert her? Bitter and filled with recriminations, Nora goes looking for him in the Ardennes.
