Sunny Bergman travels around the world exploring, from a personal perspective, the limits of our views regarding sexuality, love and the female body. In Uganda, she receives sex lessons from a ssenga, an ‘aunt’ who introduces young women to the joys of sex. One of the things they discuss is the popularity of labia extensions in this country. Ugandans do not understand why the Dutch call labia schaamlippen (verbally: shame lips). Why would you be ashamed of your body?
