Atmospheric animation film on the basis of digitally treated pencil drawings. In a forest, water, wood and stone are elements in a cycle of change that is never unambiguous. For instance, water is a source of life, but also causes rot. Kuipers gave his personal interpretation to the commission by Groen Links to make a film for a congress on development aid. Structures shows the complexity of processes in a neutral environment, set apart from politics.
