A street urchin from Rotterdam dreams of only one thing: become just as proficient as his hero Soufiane Touzani. But an ill-fated car accident puts an end to this dream. And to his friendship with his best mate?
Best friends Dylan and Youssef dream of becoming pro football players. On the pitch, the boys go through fire and water for each other; off the field, they see everything as a game. When one ill-starred day Dylan is knocked down by a car, he ends up in hospital with a spinal cord lesion. His father – and coach – wants him to accept his handicap and ban football from his life, but Dylan is determined to pick up the sport again. A story with a Rotterdam heart, about true friendship and winning a final in the dying seconds before the final whistle.
