After an accident, Vera finds herself in a life she no longer recognises. Meeting Xander opens up a new world for her, but also forces her to decide who she wants to be.
Vera (23) lives for freedom and adventure, until an accident dramatically changes her life. At a rehabilitation centre, she must not only learn to navigate her new body, but also let go of the life she once knew. She meets 22-year-old Xander, who introduces her to a community where disabilities don't need to be hidden. As their friendship grows closer, Vera must decide how she wants to shape her new reality. This film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
