One year after the legendary Woodstock pop festival, the Netherlands had its own with the three-day open-air Holland Popfestival 1970 - Rotterdam, also known as the Kralingen Popfestival or Stamping Ground. Featuring big names from that time: Santana, Pink Floyd, The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Al Stewart, Canned Heat, T-Rex and many others. George Sluizer and Hans Jürgen Pohland made a probing impression.
