In a cold, dark forest, Hans is gathering deadwood when he is surprised by a visit from the sinister Evert and Ria. Seemingly without making contact with Hans, they also start collecting wood, but they’re not very good at it. Moved by compassion, Hans offers some wood from his stack. When Evert and Ria take a lot more than he expected, Hans discovers getting rid of them won’t be easy. This drama about manipulation and remorse has the mood of a dark fairy-tale.
