While ethnic tensions in Bosnia Herzegovina in 1992 cause a conflict between neighbours, Amir does everything to protect his daughter from the impending war, in this short drama.
Bosnia Herzegovina, April 1992. Bosnian Amir, Nada and their daughter Lejla are close friends with their Bosnian-Serbian neighbours. On Lejla's birthday, they are invited to dinner. That night, the warm mood suddenly changes, due to a tense conversation about politics. Soon after, Lejla realises what it means to belong to a certain ethnicity. In the weeks that follow tensions mount to a perilous degree.
