A musician travels to a town to look for his missing sister. But the quest exposes a painful truth; has he not lost his sister much longer ago?
A dispirited musician starts a search for his missing sister Fanny in Belgium. He stops by several places, like a pub where his sister used to perform as a singer, and in the country he looks up Fanny's partner Clara. It gradually dawns on him that he hardly knows Fanny – whom he has not spoken to her for years - anymore. This psychological drama, shot in an observant style, makes clear that the man has lost not only the connection with his sister, but also with himself.
