Selfportrait of the 20th Century as a Brain

Director: Dick Tuinder
Self-portrait of the twentieth century as the stream of consciousness of a brain. In a kaleidoscopic play of colour and monochrome shots, slow-motion and fast forward, a faceless English voice-over - the brain - tells about growing up, about war, destruction, Sigmund Freud and yearning pin-ups. A barrage of images, with alternately a pompous and melancholy soundtrack.
