Romantic comedy about the making of a TV documentary offers a glimpse of how truth is manipulated to boost viewer ratings. The ambitious Tjitske makes a reality soap about the common bloke Bob, who became a security guard after the murder of Pim Fortuyn. She wants to attract viewers by capturing the underbelly feelings of Dutchmen. Gradually, however, Bob turns out to be smarter and more open-minded than she expected. But her boss demands she portrays him as a stereotypical xenophobic person.
