Documentary series in twelve instalments celebrating the meeting between literature and cinema. The writers’ portraits form a cross section of the state of affairs in both disciplines. The films show the authors’ mainsprings and the way these are expressed in their books.
Catherine van Campen portrayed poet, columnist and former Rotterdam City Poet Ester Naomi Perquin. Perquin’s publications include three acclaimed volumes of poetry. In 2010, her oeuvre brought her the triennial Anna Blaman Award for writers who have ties with Rotterdam.
