When you fret, you keep going in circles. The movements in a swift, nocturnal animated city visualise the swirling thoughts of a girl who is tossing and turning and brooding in bed. Like her thoughts, everything in the city is connected by cogwheels. Something simple like sharing a French fry eventually brings the ceaseless roller coaster of fretting to a halt.
