Episode from a thirteen-part comedy series about the ups and downs of two people in their forties and their wayward children. Rutger Boas is divorced and has two sons. He is madly in love with Ien, the divorced mother of two teenage daughters. For both Rutger and Ien their relationship is a second chance. They seem to be made for eachother and decide to live together. The enew family moves into a house in the affluent Hilversum area. It isn't easy to agree on who should have which room. In the end the eldest boy and girl have the attic and the youngest two get the first floor. At first it looks as if the eldest can't get on together. Later they do turn out to see something in each other.
