The Italian artist Paolo Ventura started out as a fashion photographer, but gave it up because he was not really interested in fashion. He started making autonomous work, inspired by the images he saw when his grandma told about the Second World War. With the photo series War Souvenir and Winter Stories, he conquered the art scene. The documentary shows him at work in his cabin on top of a deserted mountain. Here, he creates his own world where he feels at home. Ventura talks about his career and his routine.
