Drama series about adultery, real-estate crime, treason and murder. The third season starts two years after the end of the previous series. Real estate tycoon Huub Couwenberg is in prison for blackmailing an alderman, but not for what he did to his former lawyer Willem Steenhouwer. Due to insufficient evidence, the case was dismissed. Steenhouwer tries to become happy with photographer Iris, but the injustice keeps gnawing at him. The Couwenberg family is thrown into commotion, because their son Björn wants to marry a prostitute.
