Elderly Rotterdam-based LHBTIQA+ people provide a unique glimpse of their lives in this hopeful, imaginative documentary. Their past, the spaces where they felt welcome and unwelcome, and their struggle for being able to be themselves.
In a bright pink room in Rotterdam, four elderly LGBTQIA+ people gather to share their life stories in this imaginative documentary. While initially their stories seem very different, they clearly have one thing in common. Nell, Jos, Tonny and Arie have all had to look for a place where they could be themselves. All four of them had to transform the traditional standards around family, belief and marriage to give room to their identity.
