Human drama about the turbulent relationship between a Russian man and a Greek woman in a nameless Dutch town. Intense conflict situations alternate with moments of warmth and passion.
At a bar in a nameless Dutch town, the Russian chef Nikolai meets the Greek Varya. It is love at first sight. This human drama broadly sketches the equally blistering and destructive power of their turbulent relationship. Slowly but surely, sincere love and hope start vying with destruction and despair. Moments of passion and warmth alternate with conflict situations. Although this drama shows some extreme sides of a relationship, strategically scattered everyday moments add a degree of familiarity.
