Ongeschreven Regels - Between Small Places

Director: Robin Alysha Clemens
This sympathetic, homeless American writer who has been roaming the Amsterdam streets for years philosophises about his quest for an ultimate feeling of ‘home’. Which can very well be a bench in an Amsterdam park.
The homeless American writer Brian has been roaming the streets of Amsterdam for years. Far from home, he examines the concept of ‘home’. On the go, on park benches and by the empty children’s pool where he settles down, he lovingly takes care of his environment. This debut documentary follows him, while he looks at society from the sidelines, a society that often does not, but sometimes does see him. In the voice-over, he expressively tells what feeling home means and which special encounters and experiences contribute to it.
