With this film, video artist Guido van der Werve pays homage to two of his (childhood) heroes: Alexander the Great and Chopin. He even composed a special requiem - with an appropriate structure of three parts and twelve acts - and covered the 1000 miles that separate Chopin’ s body (at the Parisian Père-Lachaise cemetery) from his heart (in a Warsaw church) by doing a triathlon. An essay imbued with nostalgia, with personal and universal truths.
