Topical cop series about the Amsterdam detective and team leader Dana, who uses her background as a psychologist in solving crimes. After her divorce, she and her adolescent daughter move from the well-to-do South to a working-class neighbourhood in North, where she tries to pick up her life again. A mysterious murder case runs through the series like a thread. The title not only refers to the two districts, but also to phenomena like social rancour, class justice, self-enrichment and the growing chasm between rich and poor.
