Mr. K (Crispin Glover), a traveling magician, finds himself in a Kafkaesque nightmare when he can’t find the exit of the hotel he slept in. His frantic escape attempts only pull him deeper into the mysterious world of the hotel, where he is confronted with its curious residents and inexplicable events. The film with an international cast had its world première as part of the prestigious Platform competition of the Toronto International Film Festival, before clinching the Méliès d’Argent for Best European Fantastic Film. Director Schwab also wrote the film script.
