In this short drama, we see how Bert de Ruiter slowly freaks out and explodes. De Ruiter’s character was inspired by the 'Molotov Man', who came in the news in 2012 when he threw Molotov cocktails at police officers from his window. Many years of fear of his neighbours and the feeling he was not helped but thwarted by the authorities and police, push the Molotov Man to a paroxysm of rage.
