Twelve-year-old Mimoun grows up in the Schilderswijk in The Hague. His single mother works hard to look after her three sons, but she finds it hard to raise them. For instance, she does everything she can to keep Mimoun away from his criminal older brother Ab. But when Mimoun tries to find some money to buy a special Valentine’s Day gift for his classmate Soraya, he threatens to be swept along into Ab’s world, after all. An exciting youth film about evil temptations and genuine infatuation.
