After losing her father, 22-year-old Eli joins her grandmother on a senior citizens' trip. A sharp drama full of humour and awkwardness, about two generations each coping with loss in their own way.
When Eli loses her father, grandma Winnie loses her son. Overwhelmed by grief, and frustrated that even her best friend doesn't seem to understand how she feels, Eli — to her own surprise as much as anyone's — climbs onto a bus, joining Winnie on a group trip for senior citizens. Hoping she might finally be able to share her grief with her grandmother, she takes the rest of the travel group in stride. But how do you grieve at 22? And what's a Gen Z-er supposed to do surrounded by boomers?
