Mees Kees op de planken

The pupils of Holland’s nicest schoolteacher can rejoice in something special: performing the big end-of-term play. Just leave this to intern Mees Kees, who is not only an excellent improviser in front of the class, but also on stage. However, the preparations go far from smoothly. Lady principal Dreus demands the class will perform a terribly boring medieval play in a retirement home full of grumpy old folks. Will Mees Kees manage to bend things to his will? The cheerful family film is based on Mirjam Oldenhave’s eponymous children’s book series.
