Short documentary follows three young Spanish women who come from Seville to Amsterdam to start a new life. The sisters Maria and Marta Robles and their friend Maria Romero are street artistes and perform as the flamenco group Mala Sangre. Maria (vocals), Maria (dance) and Marta (guitar) want to be famous and use the street as their springboard to the theatre. The documentary shows how the women seduce audiences with passionate and humorous shows. They describe to the camera their experiences as newcomers and foreign female artistes in their favourite venue, Leidseplein. They also talk about criticism of the songs they wrote themselves. As the film progresses, they reach a difficult moment: should they stop and return to Seville, or do they seriously want to become professional.
